Yes we are. Dr Gillanders and Dr Poveda are registered as Practitioner Psychologists with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The HCPC is a regulator of health and care professions in the UK, including Clinical Psychology. Their role is to protect the public. By law, people must be registered with us to work in the UK.
Both Dr Gillanders and Dr Poveda are listed on the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN).
The SRCN is the gold standard for clinicians practising in neuropsychology and provides a quality mark for their expertise. To join the register, clinicians must undergo specialist post-doctoral training in brain injury and neurological illness and gain experience in neuropsychological assessment and treatment. To remain on the SRCN, you must undertake supervision and CPD to ensure your knowledge and skills remain up to date.
The SRCN allows the general public, patients and other professionals to identify those individuals who are recognised as Clinical Neuropsychologists by the BPS, the UK’s professional body of psychologists.
We can work with people across the UK using a combination of in person and remote assessment and treatment. Please contact us and we can discuss your or your patient’s needs.
We are pleased to say that neuropsychological therapy can be provided in Spanish by Dr Poveda.
