
Dr Sarah Gillanders
Sarah is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the regulatory body for Clinical Psychologists. She is a Full Practitioner Member of the British Psychological Society’s (BPS) Division of Neuropsychology and is listed on the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. She is the current Honorary Secretary of the Division of Neuropsychology Scotland.
Sarah has special interests in adjustment following brain and spinal injuries, self-identity and novel ways of working including telemedicine and outdoor therapy. She uses a range of therapeutically models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Dr Blanca Poveda
Blanca is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the regulatory body for Clinical Psychologists. She is a Full Practitioner Member of the British Psychological Society’s (BPS) Division of Neuropsychology and is listed on the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. She is a representative for NHS Lothian at the Division of Neuropsychology Scotland.
Blanca has extensive experience working with individuals and families following brain injury as well as cognitive rehabilitation. She uses a range of therapeutic models, including Motivational Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
