At Edinburgh Neuropsychology we work closely with case managers, lawyers, NHS referrers, individuals affected by neurological conditions and their families. The relationships we form with our patients, referrers and multidisciplinary colleagues are central to the specialist services we provide.

We work collaboratively with clients to understand their difficulties and use evidence-base interventions recommended by SIGN and NICE to provide optimum treatment. Our goal is to help people understand their neurological condition and develop skills to nurture their mental health and quality of life.

Testimonials

"I have now been speaking to Sarah for over nine months and can honestly say she has been extremely patient, helpful, understanding and considerate. I would definitely recommend Sarah as she has enabled me to connect with my feelings and how to help control my outburst of emotions due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder."

SOPHIE

"I gained much from working with both Blanca and Sarah after my brain injury. Their understanding and patience was a huge comfort and I would have struggled much more without their help. They both helped my recovery greatly."

IAN

"I worked alongside Blanca in a neurorehabilitation setting for several years. I found her consistently approachable, dependable, curious, empathic and a real team player. The needs of her patients and her colleagues are always foremost in her thoughts."

VICKY, SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST

"I had no previous experience of working with a neuropsychologist and am not normally someone who would seek counselling. But I found it very helpful to share what had happened to me with a specialist, who could put it into context, assess my situation and come up with recommendations as to how I move forward."

FIONA

"Sarah is clear in her assessment process and aims to set realistic goals with my clients which is not always easy with their level of injury. Sarah is also very honest in her feedback to me on my clients and if she feels they have reached their maximum potential she will say so and agree a discharge plan."

ROSIE BOND, SENIOR CASE MANAGER, JS PARKER

"In 2016 I was discharged from hospital after suffering a life changing spinal cord injury. Having to readjust to a completely new life was not just physically exhausting but also mentally so to help with this my case manager put me in touch with Sarah who I have now worked with for a number of years and who without any doubt has helped me get to where I am today."
